Chilliwack Child & Youth Committee

The Chilliwack CYC represents a variety of community groups, governmental and nongovernmental. We provide leadership and advocacy in the delivery of human/social services to children, youth and their families. Our mission is to work collaboratively, in liaison with clients/consumers, in the design, implementation and evaluation of the continuum of services which enhance the well-being of children, youth and their families.

Fraser Valley Child Development Centre

Providing services for children and families from ages birth-18. They provide infant development, key workers, occupational therapy, physical therapy, parent and family support, speech language therapy, supported child development, positive parent and behaviour support, early childhood mental health, assessment clinic, and next step autism.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upper Fraser Valley

Provides opportunities for children and youth to develop their sense of belonging, self-worth and potential through the friendship and guidance of mentoring.

Chilliwack Society for Community Living

Providing Community inclusion services, children’s services, independent living support, individualized living options, respitality, and respite services for individuals with a disability and their families.

Chilliwack Restorative Justice & Youth Advocacy Association

A volunteer based program aimed at fostering a safe and caring community by administering restorative justice programs. The mandate of the program is to bring offenders and victims together to discuss criminal incidents and to find ways to repair the harm caused.

United Way of the Fraser Valley

Invests in children’s early years, poverty reduction, and homelessness and affordable housing.

Ann Davis Transition Society

Provides shelter and support for abused women and their children. They provide counselling for men, counselling for women, counselling for children supervised visits, advocacy, groups, youth programs, and transition house.
